ABOUT US

At the Oxford Women* in Law Society, we believe that access to all professions within the legal sector shouldn’t be dependent on factors like age, race, ethnicity or gender. The society works with various law firms each term to promote this message, and offers support to students who identify as female or non-binary. Throughout the term, we also partner with other law societies at the university, including, but not limited to, the Oxford Law Society, the Oxford Human Rights Law Society, and the Oxford Bar Society. We were founded in 2019, with this goal, and continue to work towards this with each new committee.
